Guided by our vision, purpose, mission, values, and policies, we inspire philanthropic generosity to enhance our community’s quality of life. Scholarships More than 200 students throughout north central Wisconsin, from pre-school to post-graduate, will be awarded scholarships totaling more than $300,000 from the 125 endowed scholarship funds administered within the Community Foundation. Wausau East Girl’s Swim Team Scholarship Established in March 2006, the Wausau East Girl’s Swim Team Scholarship Fund was created by a dedicated group of parents who wanted to celebrate the heart and determination of their student athletes. Through the Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin, they envisioned a lasting way to honor the team spirit, discipline, and perseverance that define Wausau East swimmers— both in and out of the pool. The fund recognizes student athletes who exemplify the best of the sport: a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to personal and team excellence. It is a tribute to the young women who dive into every challenge with energy and grace, inspiring their teammates and community along the way. More than just a scholarship, this fund carries forward the proud “Go Jacks!” tradition—celebrating those who turn effort into achievement, camaraderie into leadership, and sport into lifelong lessons.
