Summary
The Empire Health Foundation is committed to strengthening communities through connection and learning by providing sponsorship funding for events that promote health equity and social justice. While they are no longer accepting sponsorship applications for 2025, they encourage grassroots organizations serving marginalized communities in eastern Washington to reach out for future opportunities. Their focus includes supporting 2SLGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and low-income populations, fostering collaboration, and enhancing community well-being.Overview
NOTE: There are no set deadlines, however the Sponsorship Committee reviews requests on a monthly basis beginning in March 2026. It is preferable that you provide your request at least 90 days before a planned event or convening. Community Sponsorships Strengthening communities through connection and learning. Events, trainings and convenings are ideal environments for important connecting, learning and fundraising to happen. To support these vital efforts, we offer sponsorship funding to gatherings that bring people together to build stronger, healthier communities. We welcome community partners from around our service region to contact us with inquiries. We provide sponsorship support for grassroots, by and for, non-profit organizations serving communities within our seven county, three reservation service area in eastern Washington. In alignment with our mission to advance health equity, we prioritize funding for organizations that work directly with 2SLGBTQIA+, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), disability, low-income, and rural communities. What We Fund Our sponsorships come in many forms, including the examples here. We welcome your ideas for other kinds of events that support and advance health equity and racial and social justice in eastern Washington. Fundraisers that support programs and operations of local non-profits.Celebrations and Community Gatherings that build connections and foster collaboration and action.Staff, Board or Community Convenings that bring groups together for shared learning and growth.Strategic Planning Sessions that help your organization plan and grow for the future.Eligibility
