Voices of Hope Academic Scholarship

Funder: Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation (SBTF)

Program Purpose: Provides financial support for individuals who have been directly impacted by a brain tumor diagnosis or whose immediate family members have been diagnosed with a brain tumor to pursue post-secondary education.

Eligibility

• Applicants: Individuals directly impacted by a brain tumor diagnosis OR immediate family members of someone with a brain tumor diagnosis
• Immediate Family Members Include: child, stepchild, grandchild, parent, stepparent, grandparent, spouse, former spouse, sibling, cousin, aunt, uncle, niece, nephew, mother-in-law, father-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and relationships through adoption or guardianship
• Diagnosis Requirement: Primary diagnosis must be a brain tumor, specifically a physical tumor located in the brain or pituitary gland
• Educational Enrollment: Students can enroll online, in person, or through both methods
• Institution Type: Accredited College, University, or Technical school located in one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia
