Our History A Strong Heritage The concept of a community foundation for Bartholomew County became reality in 1976 with the purpose of continuing a legacy of giving by providing an opportunity for all citizens to make gifts of all sizes and establish charitable funds to benefit the local community. Nearly 50 years later, we continue our proud heritage of generous community giving and embrace our mission to inspire generosity; gather and grow community leaders; and to act to ensure that Bartholomew County is an exceptional place for all to live, learn, work and play. Grant Opportunity Voelz, Reed , & Mount Foundation The Voelz, Reed, & Mount Foundation was established to give back to the local communities where they do business. Nonprofit organizations in Bartholomew, Jackson, Jennings, and Decatur counties are invited to submit a grant application for projects and programs that have a positive impact on the lives of senior citizens and their families. The average grant award will be $500-$1,500; however larger grants may be considered.Eligibility
