The concept of a community foundation for Bartholomew County became reality in 1976 with the purpose of continuing a legacy of giving by providing an opportunity for all citizens to make gifts of all sizes and establish charitable funds to benefit the local community. Heritage Fund was formed in 1976 as a community foundation with the purpose of creating a legacy of giving by providing an opportunity for all citizens to make gifts and establish charitable funds to benefit the local community. Nearly 50 years later, we continue our proud heritage of generous community giving and embrace our mission to inspire generosity; gather and grow community leaders; and to act to ensure that Bartholomew County is an exceptional place for all to live, learn, work and play. AEI Youth Sports Fund Field of Interest Fund established in 2019 by Analytical Engineering, Inc to provide financial assistance for sports participation for youth ages 18 & under residing in Bartholomew and surrounding counties. Purpose: To provide financial assistance for area youth to participate in athletic and fitness programs. Kids’ sports can be expensive and participation can be prohibitive for those with financial need.
