Vitalant MLS Scholarship

Focus Area: Tuition assistance for students pursuing careers in Immunohematology (blood banking) or blood donation

Geographic Scope: United States (institutions with active affiliation agreements with Vitalant)

Eligibility:

• Must be enrolled in an accredited Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) program
• Educational institution must have an active affiliation agreement with Vitalant
• Applicant must demonstrate interest in Immunohematology (blood banking)
• Must complete the Scholarship Application Form

Recipient Commitments:

• Recipients agree to work for Vitalant Reference Laboratory for 36 months (3 years) post-graduation
• Scholarships are non-transferable

Review Process:

• Applications reviewed by the Vitalant Scholarship Committee
• Applicants receive acknowledgement of receipt
• Award notifications sent within published timeline

   • MLS Program (if applicable)

   • School Name and Address
   • Attendance dates (From/To)
   • Graduation status (Yes/No)
   • Degree type
5. Interest & Documentation
   • Essay: Why you are pursuing a career in Immunohematology (blood banking)
   • Essay: Describe your interest in working with Vitalant Reference Laboratory
   • Essay: Describe any relevant experience (academic, volunteer, or work)
   • Upload Resume or CV
6. Disclaimer and Signature
   • Certification that answers are true and complete
   • Type name as signature
   • Submit application
