Visual Arts Achievement Program (VAAP)
Funder: Mobile Arts Council (MAC) / Alabama State Council on the Arts (ASCA)
Program Type: Arts in education program providing local and state recognition for student achievement in visual arts
Geographic Scope: District 1 (Alabama counties: Baldwin, Clarke, Conecuh, Escambia, Mobile, Monroe, Washington); Mobile and Baldwin County specifically
Eligible Students: Grades 6 through 12 participating in arts programs within academic institutions
Ineligible: Students from private studios are not eligible to submit work through their studio instructors
Purpose:
Competition Structure
Districts compete and single out winners to advance to the state level. Mobile Arts Council hosts District 1 competition.

2. Submit entries at Mobile Arts Council (MAC) office
3. Complete entry forms with required student and school information
