The VIP Foundation is dedicated to assisting smaller charities who don't have the full financial support of other larger charities. The foundation targets grant considerations in the $5,000 - $10,000 - $15,000 range of approval.

Focus Areas

The foundation supports three primary focus areas:

• Quality of Life – Support for public spaces, parks, trails, the outdoors, animal welfare, children's issues, and education
• Health and Wellness – Support for food assistance, nutrition, health-related organizations, wellness, fitness, disease prevention and research, and people experiencing health emergencies
• Collaboration – Support for civic organizations, the military, veterans, and other non-profits with a shared mission

Recent grant recipients include: Lily's Pad, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Rise and Dream Foundation, Cloud Covered Sheets, Fresh Start Women's Foundation, The Joy Bus, Kids Around the World, Phoenix Children's Hospital, Folds of Honor, Outdoor Adventures/Wounded Vets

• Must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
• Smaller charities preferred
• Must have IRS letter confirming 501(c)(3) status

Background

As of May 2022, the foundation had distributed over $73,500 to organizations throughout Arizona. By the time of the November 2023 article, over $200,000 had been distributed to more than 20 charitable causes.
