Villano-ebbo Scholarship Fund Grant

The Villano-ebbo Scholarship Fund, managed by the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, supports local students from the Greater Hartford region pursuing higher education in technology or entrepreneurship. Established by entrepreneur Vin Villano, this fund is dedicated to aiding one graduating high school senior with a strong academic record and financial need. About the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving
Over the years, individuals and families have donated money to the Foundation, creating an endowment. From the endowment, the Foundation makes grants to a broad range of nonprofit organizations in the region.
There are more than 160 funds at the Foundation devoted specifically to scholarships.

Eligibility

Selection CriteriaGraduating high school senior who lives in or attends high school in one of the 29 towns in the Greater Hartford region.
Entering a 2-year or 4-year college/university, pursuing an undergraduate degree on a full-time basis.
Have achieved academic success in high school and shows promise of continued academic achievement at the college level.
Need financial aid in order to attend college.
Have been involved with volunteer, community service, and/or extracurricular activities.
Are interested in technology or entrepreneurship.
