Eligibility:

Wounded Marines and Sailors from San Diego County

Military families facing financial hardships

Service members injured during overseas combat or training accidents

Those with injuries sustained while serving with Marine Corps forces

Funding Focus:
The Victory Fund provides aid and support to wounded military personnel and their families by assisting with:

Expenditures beyond the scope of military assistance or benefit timing

Handicap adaptive home modifications

Adaptive sports equipment

Adaptive vehicles

Travel expenses to hospitals for family members

Income lost when spouses must leave jobs temporarily to care for injured service members

Other extraordinary expenses not covered by government assistance

Special Programs:

Camp Pendleton Beach Cottages: 13 fully furnished, handicap-friendly beach cottages available for short-term rental with priority given to injured military. Two cottages are dedicated to Nice Guys members in honor of Col. Jim Williams and Col. Jack Kelly.

Marine Family Christmas Fund: Provides $100 grocery store gift cards to young Marine families during the holiday season (Christmas 2018: 1,000 families served)

Administrative:

NO overhead costs

NO paid staff

NO office expenses

All administrative costs paid by members

100% of donations go directly to military families and support

Partnerships:

Works in conjunction with Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund

Coordinates through military and wives clubs to identify families in need
