If after taking the quiz you determine that your organization is a good fit for our Foundation please submit a program application. The Foundation's Board meets monthly, and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, often with a small backlog. Most submissions take up to 12 weeks to review. Mission The Cornelia T. Bailey Foundation was founded in 2007 to promote the arts, education, and initiatives that seek to better our world by utilizing nature and the sciences. Veterans Assistance & Service Dog Funding Program We are excited to announce the launch of our new Veterans Assistance & Service Dog Funding Program. This funding initiative supports 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations already serving veterans. Its goal is to help these organizations enhance their ability to provide vital services to veterans, particularly general veterans assistance and service dog provision. Purpose of the Program The Veterans Assistance & Service Dog Funding Program is designed to empower nonprofit organizations that serve veterans by offering grants to fund the following critical areas: Veterans Assistance Services: Grants can support programs that help veterans with healthcare, housing, mental health services, employment support, and other resources that contribute to a successful transition to civilian life.Service Dogs for Veterans: Grants can also be used to support organizations that provide service dogs to veterans. Service dogs are instrumental in improving the lives of veterans who face disabilities, including PTSD, mobility impairments, and other physical or mental health challenges.

Eligibility

To be eligible, organizations must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit entities that are actively serving veterans.Eligible Expenses: Grant funds may support various programs, including—but not limited to—medical care, housing assistance, job training, therapeutic services, and the acquisition and training of service dogs for veterans.

Ineligibility

Our Foundation does not grant to individuals, political organizations, lobbying groups, fraternal, foreign, civic organizations, or other private trusts/foundations.
