Overview
Specifically designed for agencies with 10 or fewer peace officers (larger agencies considered on case-by-case basis). Designed to assist very small agencies with schedule coverage so their staff can attend law enforcement training. POST helps qualifying agencies contact larger agencies willing to provide staff coverage. POST reimburses the providing agency up to $50/hr per hour worked (including benefit costs). Additional funds may be requested for travel time, lodging, and mileage. Application must be submitted at least 30 days in advance of training.
