Overview
POST provides grant funding in the form of scholarships to 30 employed peace officers to attend the Public Safety Leadership Development Program created by University of Denver and multiple local agencies. Program focuses on communication, interpersonal skills, and building trust. Priority given to small/rural law enforcement agencies. Application must be submitted by the certified peace officer's agency at least 30 days in advance of the class. POST reimburses the agency after the student completes the course.
