Overview
Provides grant funding in the form of scholarships to 30 employed peace officers to attend the Public Safety Leadership Development Program offered by University of Denver and local agencies. Focuses on communication, interpersonal skills, and building trust. Priority given to small/rural law enforcement agencies. Application must be submitted to POST by certified peace officer's agency at least 30 days in advance of class. Agencies will be reimbursed after student completes course upon submission of completion certificate and proof of payment.
