Overview: The USGAA Structural Grant provides funding to GAA units (clubs and divisions) for structural work to build or improve playing facilities. This is a competitive grant program designed to support infrastructure development across the USGAA.

    USGAA Structural Grant Application Process

    #### Application Steps:
    1. Complete the USGAA Structural Grant Application form
    2. Provide detailed project information and financial documentation
    3. Submit application through the online form portal

      Applicant Details:

    • Unit Information: Division applying for grant, name of person preparing application

      Project Details:

    • Location: Full street address, city, state
    • Project Description: Purpose of grant (summarize project type)
    • Project Type: Specify if new facility or addition/expansion
    • Existing Facilities: Brief description of current facilities
    • Detailed Project Plan: Full details of project under consideration (maximum 5,000 words)
    • - Project scope and planned timeline - Identify if any phases are dependent on grant approval - Status of local and state permits required - List major permits and approval status
    • Property Status: Specify if property is owned or leased

      Project Finances:

    • Projected Overall Cost of project
    • Amount Requested: (must be $5,000-$250,000)
    • Funding Currently in Place: (exclude financing arrangements like mortgages or bond issues)
    • Borrowing Amount: Expected annual debt repayment amounts
    • Annual Revenue of Unit: Estimated typical money raised from sponsorship, gate receipts, etc.
    • One-off Event Revenue: Estimated possible revenues from fund-raising initiatives specifically related to project
    • Annual Maintenance Costs: Estimated annual maintenance costs for facility (utilities, upkeep, etc.)

      Strategic Value:

    • Teams with Direct Access: Number of teams with weekly access to facility
    • Registered Members with Direct Access: Number of members with weekly access
    • Growth Rate Documentation: Team and membership numbers for last 3 years, with initiatives to grow GAA presence
    • Wider Geographic Service: Explain if facility could serve wider area or host regional championships
