Overview: The USGAA Development Awards recognize clubs for initiatives that help them grow and become more rooted in their community. The awards aim to incentivize grassroots membership growth through various club-based activities.

Geographic Scope: United States (all USGAA divisions)

Award Categories:

  • Club Development Award (separate categories for Ladies Football, Men's Football, Men's Hurling, Ladies Hurling/Camogie, divided by club size: 20-39 registered players and 40+ registered players)

  • National Volunteer Achievement Award

  • New Club of the Year (Ladies Football, Men's Football, Men's Hurling)

  • Website of the Year

  • TV Spot of the Year

  • Video Promo Award
  • Eligibility:

  • USGAA member clubs

  • Clubs demonstrating growth initiatives and community engagement

  • New clubs (in operation for 3 years or less for the New Club category)
  • What They Fund/Recognize:

  • Club development and membership growth

  • Volunteer contributions to club administration and development

  • Digital presence and marketing efforts (websites, video content, TV coverage)
  • Geographic Coverage: All USGAA divisions including Central, Heartland, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Northeast, Northwest, Philadelphia, Southeast, Southwest, and Western divisions

    3. Required Information:
    - Nominator name and email
    - Club membership information
    - Specific details relevant to each category (e.g., website URL, TV spot link, evidence of growth metrics)
    4. Criteria Verification: Applicants must demonstrate how their submission meets specific category criteria
    5. Deadline: Submissions typically due before annual USGAA Convention (announcement and winners announcement at Convention)
