Upper Valley Teaching Place Collaborative (UVTPC) Mini-Grants for Place-Based Education
Funder: Vital Communities Inc, funded by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation's Wellborn Ecology Fund
Overview: The UVTPC is a network of professional development providers and practitioners founded in 2017 (originally as the Wellborn Hub) that works to advance high-quality place-based and ecological education (PBEE) in all Upper Valley Schools.
Purpose
Grants are designed to help teachers and learning communities implement programming in the spring or prepare during the summer for the coming school year.- Professional development

Geographic Scope
Projects must take place within the geographic boundaries outlined by the map at vitalcommunities.org/grants (Upper Valley region)Project Timeline
Projects to take place between April – December (2022 timeline noted, but recurrence unknown)- Early Childhood Education Centers
- K-12 schools (public and private)
- Organizations working directly with K-12 schools
- Applicant school/organization must be within the designated Upper Valley geographic boundaries

Application Process
1. Complete the Google Form - No formal application required, just complete the easy Google Form (link provided on vitalcommunities.org/grants)
2. Submit W-9 Form - Funding requests must include a completed W-9 form from the fiscal agent (school or organization)
3. Post-Project Reporting - At the completion of their projects, recipients are encouraged to share photos and a written update for the UVTPC newsletter

- Decisions: Announced by March 25, 2022
