CLIMATE and ENVIRONMENT – Partnership Grant Program
Supports research and/or education projects that improving farming in at least one of the following ways: Maintain and enhance the quality and productivity of the soil Conserve soil, water, energy, natural resources, and fish and wildlife habitat; Maintain and enhance the quality of surface and ground water; Protect the health and safety of persons involved in the food and farm system; Promote the well-being of animals; and Increase employment opportunities in agriculture

Notes
Projects can be lead by municipalities. At least one farmer partner is required. All projects must include an element of outreach, where project activities/results are shared with communities of farmers and agricultural service providers. Projects related to environmental work that provide direct or indirect benefits to farmers are eligible.
