    Eligibility

  • Current upper-class (sophomore, junior, senior) UMaine engineering students
  • Transfer students from other colleges/universities
  • Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0 (must be 3.0 or better at beginning of semester for which award is made)
  • Interest in careers in pulp and paper industry
  • All engineering majors welcome

    Requirements & Conditions

  • Must maintain cumulative GPA ≥3.0
  • Must actively demonstrate interest in pulp and paper/supplier industries through:
  • - Chinn Management Seminars participation - Student organization membership - Co-op job or internship participation
  • Scholarship will be terminated if student fails to demonstrate continuing interest in paper industry employment
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 required to remain a scholarship recipient

List of Foundation events attended (Company Info Sessions, Chinn Seminar, Paper Days, etc., or "N/A" if none) 6. Personal information: - Full name - Maine.edu email address - Cell phone - Home mailing address 7. Lists of: - Academic honors (Honor Societies, Awards in High School and College) - University honors (Sports/Intramurals, Academic/Social/Professional Clubs) - Hobbies and interests - Employment history (summer and part-time during school, most recent first) - Financial aid sources (excluding amounts - include University and non-University loans, grants, and scholarships) 8. Consent & Releases: - Agreement for Foundation to access University records - Statement of intent regarding paper industry employment - Electronic signature
