Application Process

Required Materials

1. Unofficial transcript (PDF) 2. Letter to Scholarship Committee (PDF) including: - How you became familiar with the pulp and paper industry - How you plan to continue developing your industry awareness - Any other relevant details supporting your application 3. Academic information: - Current GPA - Projected graduation date (e.g., May 2029) 4. Internship/Co-op information (if applicable, or enter "N/A") 5. List of Foundation events attended (Company Info Sessions, Chinn Seminar, Paper Days, etc., or "N/A" if none) 6. Personal information: - Full name - Maine.edu email address - Cell phone - Home mailing address 7. Lists of: - Academic honors (Honor Societies, Awards in High School and College) - University honors (Sports/Intramurals, Academic/Social/Professional Clubs) - Hobbies and interests - Employment history (summer and part-time during school, most recent first) - Financial aid sources (excluding amounts - include University and non-University loans, grants, and scholarships) 8. Consent & Releases: - Agreement for Foundation to access University records - Statement of intent regarding paper industry employment - Electronic signature

Application Steps

1. Provide personal information (name, email, phone, address) 2. Enter current GPA 3. Enter projected graduation date 4. Enter high school information 5. Answer about previous scholarship applications 6. Answer about "Consider Engineering" summer program 7. Select racial/ethnic categories (optional) 8. List current/pending co-op/internship position 9. List Foundation events attended 10. List academic honors 11. List university honors 12. List hobbies and interests 13. Describe employment history 14. List financial assistance sources 15. Upload unofficial transcript (PDF, max 128 MB) 16. Upload letter to Scholarship Committee (PDF, max 128 MB) 17. Review release statement and provide electronic signature 18. Submit form
