Upper Class Student Scholarship

- Current upper-class (sophomore, junior, senior) UMaine engineering students
- Transfer students from other colleges/universities
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0 (must be 3.0 or better at beginning of semester for which award is made)
- Interest in careers in pulp and paper industry
- All engineering majors welcome
Eligibility
- Type: Full or partial tuition scholarships
- Quantity: Part of 160+ scholarships awarded annually
- Funded by: 60+ companies in 50 states and 300+ alumni and friends
Award Details
- Must maintain cumulative GPA ≥3.0
- Must actively demonstrate interest in pulp and paper/supplier industries through: - Chinn Management Seminars participation - Student organization membership - Co-op job or internship participation
- Scholarship will be terminated if student fails to demonstrate continuing interest in paper industry employment
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 required to remain a scholarship recipient
