Overview
_NOTE: The United Way Board of Directors, after careful and deep consideration of many factors, has decided not to put out an RFP (Request for Proposal) for a 2024-2026 Funding Cycle. Instead, United Way of Southern Chautauqua County will provide a funding extension to all currently funded programs (at their existing funding levels) through June 2025._
About Us
Since it was founded in 1920, United Way has evolved from simply a fundraising organization to become a true community builder. Over 100 years later, United Way continues to take on an active role in developing programs that enhance the quality of life throughout Southern Chautauqua County. By acting as a partner with health and human service agencies, schools, government, and the faith community, United Way of Southern Chautauqua County works year-round, connecting people to programs, and programs to other programs, in order to change and improve lives.
