United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers Scholarship Program

Overview: A new initiative designed to invest in the future of union members and their families through financial support for higher education.

Award Amount: One-time $6,000 scholarship per recipient; three total awards available

Geographic Scope: Open to recipients throughout the nation

Eligible Applicants:

Union members in good standing

Family members (spouse and dependent children, as defined by IRS regulations)

Focus Areas:

Tuition, books, and related educational expenses

Flexible funding applicable to any accredited colleges and universities across the country

Degrees, certifications, or specialized training

Eligibility Requirements:

Must be a union member in good standing OR eligible family member

Must submit completed application by June 1, 2026

Selection Process:

Recipients selected by June 19, 2026

Applicants notified of selection by June 19, 2026
