    2. Complete UFCW Charity Foundation Scholarship Application Online
    - Application window: February 9 - May 10, 2026
    - If unable to apply online, request paper application by writing to: UFCW Charity Foundation, Attn: Scholarship Program, 1775 K St., NW, Washington, DC 20006

    3. Application Requirements - Student must provide:
    - Family profile information
    - School activities, awards, and work experience
    - Essay response (showing understanding of labor movement principles)

    4. Sign and Date Application
    - Student signs
    - Parent/guardian signs (if student is under 18)
    - Signatures authorize school to release information and verify accuracy
    - Signatures authorize local union to release membership information for eligibility verification

    5. Submit to Academic Counselor
    - Give completed application to high school academic counselor
    - Counselor completes application and mails with:
    - Official grades transcript
    - Proof of graduation, intent to graduate, or GED receipt

    6. Mailing Deadline
    - Official transcript and Part B Form must be postmarked no later than May 24, 2026
    - Allow adequate time for school to process and mail materials

    After Selection

    To Receive Scholarship Payment:

  • Written evidence of enrollment in accredited college or university

  • Non-probationary student status

  • Maintenance of satisfactory grade level
  • Ongoing Requirements:

  • Submit grade copies each quarter/semester OR annual transcripts at end of school year

  • Notify Foundation in writing if education is interrupted

  • May request temporary suspension of payment under certain circumstances

  • Must maintain continued eligibility as outlined in Scholarship Acceptance Agreement
