Trustees Scholarship Fund

Purpose: Financial support for young scholars to attend accredited 2 or 4-year colleges or reputable trade schools.

Established in 2016 with a grant from the Yearley Family Foundation, the Trustees Scholarship Fund covers any costs that remain after grants and scholarships, including tuition, room and board, and books. The fund ensures that UPT's graduates do not graduate with crippling debt.

• Financial Support: Over $290,000 has been awarded to over 20 students to date
• Academic Tutoring: Access to tutoring to help students build a strong academic profile
• Staff Support: UPT staff serve as essential resources as students navigate the transition from high school to college
• GPA Requirement: Students must maintain certain GPAs to continue receiving scholarship funding after their first year

Award Amounts

• Students attending a 4-year college receive up to $10,000 per year
• Students attending Mercer County Community College receive $500-$2,000 per year
