TREWA Scholarships

Overview: The Texas Rural Electric Women's Association (TREWA) offers 20 scholarships valued at $1,000 each to support education and leadership in electric cooperative families across Texas.

Geographic Scope: Texas (TREWA members)

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a current TREWA member (membership can be obtained at time of application)

  • Must be a current member of Trinity Valley Electric Cooperative

  • Open to graduating high school seniors, college students, or adults

  • Must be enrolled full-time in an accredited college, university, or technical/trade school program

    • Membership Information:

  • Annual dues: $10

  • TREWA membership supports community involvement and youth education

    • Award Details:

  • 20 scholarships available

  • $1,000 per scholarship

  • Selection based on: leadership, community involvement, goals, and short essay
