Transinclusive Emergency Crisis Fund (TECF)
Organization: Trans Women in Need of Services Inc (TransInclusive Group)

Purpose: Provide mutual aid financial assistance to transgender, nonbinary, and gender diverse individuals with limited financial resources and resource linkage.
- Service Area: Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties, Florida
Geographic Scope
- Must identify as transgender (transfeminine, transmasculine, non-binary, gender diverse, genderqueer, gender non-conforming, etc.)
- Must currently live in Miami-Dade, Broward, or Palm Beach Counties
- Photo ID required (does not have to match your chosen name)
- Services are for Transgender, Nonbinary, and Gender Diverse identifying individuals ONLY
Eligibility Requirements
- Medical Support: Limited financial assistance for prescription drug costs and lab costs for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)
- Transportation: Rideshare vouchers to provide transportation to essential destinations (medical appointments, job interviews, grocery shopping, etc.)
- Food Support: Food vouchers
- Utilities: Limited utility payment assistance (supporting documents required)
- Housing: Limited rent/temporary housing assistance (supporting documents required)
- Gender Affirming Documents: Technical assistance and limited financial support with gender affirming documents, such as Name and Gender Marker change, assistance with updating Birth Certificates, Social Security Cards and other related documents
Funding Uses
The TECF can provide assistance for:- Application review process: First come, first served basis
- Assistance distributed based upon current funding availability and individual need
- All applicants undergo an interview process to determine individual needs
- Funding Status: Donor supported; community need is high but ability to provide direct financial assistance is limited
- Non-Discrimination: TECF does not discriminate on basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, or sex
- Approval Authority: TransInclusive Group reserves all rights to approve or deny applications for any reason

How to Apply
1. Complete Online Application: Applicants must complete the online application (see application URL below)
2. Interview Scheduling: A staff member will contact you to schedule a virtual interview
3. Supporting Documents: Applicant will be requested to provide supporting documents as needed
4. Review Process: Applications are reviewed on a first come, first served basis and assistance is distributed based upon current funding availability and individual need

- Supporting documents as requested (required for utility payment assistance, rent/temporary housing assistance, and gender affirming document support)
