Transformation Grants are the largest single grants awarded through the Quad Cities Community Foundation's Community Impact Fund each year. These grants support transformational investments addressing critical community needs in the Quad Cities region.

Quad Cities region (Rock Island and Scott Counties, IA and IL)

Focus Areas:
The foundation awards grants to support critical community needs. Recent examples include:

Youth mental health and suicide prevention programs

Healthy families home visitation and doula programs

Programs serving vulnerable populations, particularly children and families

Funding Source:
Funds come from the Community Impact Fund, a permanently endowed fund supported by more than 100 donors who have made unrestricted gifts totaling nearly $13.5 million.

Nonprofit organizations addressing critical community needs

Organizations demonstrating innovative approaches to community problems

Background:
The foundation awarded its first Transformation Grant in 2015. Grants are awarded by the Community Foundation's board of directors based on recommendations from staff, grants and scholarships committees, and fund advisors.
