Background Established in 1996 as the Columbine Community Foundation, the organization changed its name to the Grand Foundation in 2001. This change highlights the fact that we are truly a Community Foundation, serving all of Grand County, from Kremmling to Grand Lake to Winter Park. The Grand Foundation has granted over $23.7 Million to more than 7,700 Grand County organizations and individuals that provide essential services and programs, touching countless lives in Grand County. Our Mission The Grand Foundation is a philanthropic organization serving all of Grand County, Colorado. The Foundation seeks to improve the quality of life in Grand County by proactively addressing current and future needs in the areas of Health & Human Services, Arts & Culture, Education, Sports & Recreation, and Environment. Town of Granby Donor Advised Fund Grant The Town of Granby supports non-profit organizations located in Granby or serving Granby residents in the areas of arts and culture, education, environment, health and human services, and sports and recreation. The Town of Granby funds specific projects and programs that have measurable results (e.g., evidence of productivity, sustainability, or that have a lasting impact etc.). Operational funding requests will be considered; however, the Town of Granby are not in the practice of providing sustaining funds (multiple year commitments) to organizations.

Eligibility

Applicants for funding should be tax exempt under the provisions of section 501(c)(3) and 170 (b)(1)(A)(i.V.I.) of the Internal Revenue Code.  Other not-for-profit entities or groups demonstrating a need will also be considered.

Ineligibility

The Town of Granby will not participate in any political campaign on behalf of any issues or candidates.Request for programs or projects already completed will not be considered for funding. The Town of Granby will not fund items purchased before the grant is awarded.
