To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Grants Program

Overview: To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation awards annual grants to nonprofit organizations that provide direct and emergency services to people facing breast cancer throughout all phases of their breast cancer journey.

Mission: Support people facing breast cancer by funding direct and emergency services provided by Bay Area nonprofits.

Geographic Scope: Nine-county Bay Area region including Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties. Marin County historically receives a substantial percentage of funds granted.

Selection Process: The Foundation's Grants Committee, consisting of community leaders, members of the medical community, past and present Foundation board members, many having personally experienced breast cancer, carefully screens and reviews all applications.

Accountability: Applicants are required to provide financials and specific impact of grant funds. Continuous reporting and mid-year site visits by Foundation board members ensure that funds are being used appropriately.

2025 Awards: $240,000 awarded to 14 Bay Area nonprofit organizations in April 2025.
