About the Funder:

• The Thunderbirds Charities is the charitable giving arm of The Thunderbirds, a civic organization founded in 1937
• Funds are raised through the Waste Management Phoenix Open golf tournament
• Since inception, the tournament has contributed over $111 million to Phoenix area charities
• Board consists of 15 members from varying professional backgrounds
