The Philip Boyle Foundation Mission Statement The mission of The Philip Boyle Foundation is to carry on the legacy of Philip Boyle’s philanthropy. Philip was a civic leader in Oklahoma City involved with many organizations over his lifetime. The current Trustees are dedicated to following Mr. Boyle’s example and continuing his efforts. The Foundation will support charities that operate in central Oklahoma and that make a difference in the quality of life of all who are served. Foundation History The Philip Boyle Foundation was established in 1989 by Philip Boyle. The Foundation received an infusion of capital at Mr. Boyle’s death in 2000. The current Trustees are managing the Foundation to honor the philanthropic legacy of the founder. Major accomplishments to date are the building of the Philip Boyle Tree House at the Oklahoma City Zoo, support for the University of Oklahoma Geology Field Camp, Center for Children and Families, Inc., Regional Food Bank, and the Mental Health Association Oklahoma.
