The Mack Ness Fund Stanley Stone Special Grant
Overview: This annual award supports a selected outstanding Negev resident who develops creative and innovative solutions to social or economic problems unique to the Negev.

Eligibility Criteria
- Resident Status: Must be a Negev resident
- Innovation: Researcher and designer of a new, creative, and innovative solution to a social or economic problem unique to the Negev
- Collaboration: Solution must involve collaborative efforts among organizations and a strong lead young individual
- Fundraising Connection: Developer must describe efforts to connect with and attract additional funders for their ideas and solutions
- Organizational Affiliation: Individual must be associated with an NGO or amuta (registered Israeli nonprofit)
- NGO Requirements: All organizations applying must be registered amuta in Israel and must have Nihul Takin status with the Registrar of NGOs (Rasham HaAmutot)
Background
The Stanley Stone Me'oravut Hevratit (Social Involvement) Award is named for the Mack Ness Fund's founding director and recognizes outstanding young leaders in the Negev.

3. Geographic Focus:
- Which cities/towns/regional councils will be targeted?

- Do you plan to have partner organizations on this project?
- Describe the current and proposed role of the partners
5. Timeline:
- What is the timeline of operation for this program?
6. Budget:
- What is the program's overall (full) budget?
- Specify the amount requested from the Mack Ness Fund
- List potentially leveraged funds (if relevant)
- List any other known or potential partners for funding
7. Organization Information:
- Organization name and address
- Amuta status in Israel and renewal date
#### Attachments
1. Recommendation Letters: No more than three letters of recommendation
2. Resume: Current resume with a short paragraph about yourself and your journey
3. Personal Statement: Why is the problem you seek to address important to you? Explain the "why" behind starting this initiative
