Through the LG&E and KU Foundation, we're proud to support non-profit organizations that are making a real difference in the lives of our customers and their families. Every year, the LG&E and KU Foundation awards grants to a variety of non-profit organizations that are working to address critical needs in our communities. Helping Students SucceedProviding Essential ServicesProtecting Vulnerable ChildrenBuilding Stronger CommunitiesPromoting the Arts and Culture In addition, LG&E and KU’s Power of One is also part of the companywide campaign led by parent company PPL Corporation. Employees and retirees from PPL Corporation and its subsidiaries, LG&E and KU, PPL Electric Utilities and Rhode Island Energy contribute to the companywide campaign. Together with matching contributions from PPL’s affiliated foundations, the campaign raised nearly $9 million to support nearly 500 local nonprofit organizations this year. And our employees’ generosity goes far beyond financial contributions; every year LG&E and KU employees volunteer more than 20,000 hours in service to non-profit organizations in the communities we proudly serve.Eligibility
