The Explorers Club The Explorers Club is a multidisciplinary, professional society dedicated to the advancement of field research, scientific exploration and resource conservation. The Explorers Club is proud to support the scientific fieldwork of groundbreaking explorers around the globe — last year our grantees came from 6 continents and 24 countries. Fjällräven Field Grant Our shared values of conservation, education, community and preserving the instinct to explore are the guiding principles. This grant award supports exploration and research to better understand our environment, a changing climate, and the interconnectivity of wildlife and civilizations around the planet.

Eligibility

For explorers under the age of 35 doing fieldwork related to conservation, the environment, and/or sustainability.You are a graduate or post-graduate student or an early career scientist conducting fieldwork in the natural sciences.Each grant requires two written recommendations.How do we define Field Science for Explorers Club Granted Expeditions?Field science consists of expeditions that collect data in order to add to the scholarship, or knowledge in a given discipline, bound for peer reviewed publication.Relevant disciplines include, but are not limited to – anthropology, archaeology, wildlife, botany, earth sciences, marine and freshwater research, ecology, geography, paleontology.
