The Explorers Club Since 1904 Headquartered in New York City with a community of Chapters around the world, The Explorers Club has been supporting scientific expeditions of all disciplines, and uniting our members in the bonds of good fellowship for over a century. Kensington Conservation Grant The Kensington Conservation Grant is a $1,000,000 initiative to support vital, on-the-ground conservation projects now, and in the future. Made possible by the generous support of Jeff Willner and Kensington, this annual grant will fund research that deepens our understanding of the world around us. Kensington has long recognized the crucial role of explorers and scientists in shaping our collective knowledge, and by investing in research that supports cultural and environmental conservation, they’re helping to ensure a more vibrant and sustainable future. What Does the Grant Fund? The grant supports a wide range of field science disciplines. While formal academic qualifications are valued, we also welcome applications from individuals who have gained skills and knowledge through alternative pathways. We are particularly interested in projects that: Have the potential for significant impact Are led by explorers from equity-deserving groups Focus on responsible or sustainable tourism
