The Community Keeper Award

Purpose: Lifting up those who lift up others. Recognizes community members who are leading in nonprofit or community-based organizations directly serving their neighbors.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Leading in a nonprofit or community-based organization
• Directly serving neighbors and the community
• Bringing community members together
• Inspiring others to do their part

Geographic Scope: Primarily Detroit, Michigan area (based on organization location and past awardees)

Background: Part of the Strategic Community Partners Annual Scholarship Fund, which since 2020 has uplifted three inspiring leaders annually, each serving their communities uniquely. The award recognizes that meaningful change comes from those who dedicate themselves to lifting up their neighbors.

How to Apply
