Here at Bews Foundation, we are driven by a single goal; to fulfill the charitable goals of Ed and Shirley to those charitable organizations that are organized and administered under Idaho law and operate in the Treasury Valley. Granting Qualification Purpose: The Foundation is created and shall be operated exclusively within the provisions of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Charitable Beneficiaries, as defined include the folllowing: 1. Boise State UniversitBoise State University To fund the Bronco Athletic Association, including but not limited to one or more student athletic scholarship endowments;To fund a new football stadium or stadium expansion;To fund a medical school;To fund the College of Health Sciences; andTo fund the Boise State University Foundation, Inc., to promote academic programs and scholarships at Boise State University. 2. Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, Inc., for its general purposes. 3. Health To hospitals and other health care organizations for the purpose of improving the health of individuals, eradicating disease, or alleviating pain; andTo medical researchers, medical research centers, hospitals and other charitable organizations for the purpose of furthering medical and health research to better the health of individuals or to directly conduct such activities. 4. Education To scholarship funds or foundations of colleges, universities, vocational schools, college preparatory schools, private high schools, secondary schools, primary schools and pre-schools;To colleges, universities, vocational schools, college preparatory schools, private and public high schools, secondary schools, primary schools and pre-schools for their general financial assistance or specific programs, uses or purposes of such educational institutions; andTo public libraries, other organizations, and individuals for the purpose of promoting and rewarding self-education efforts. 5. Relief for the Economically Disadvantaged To charitable organizations that support or promote the health, welfare and care of the underprivileged, poor, elderly, or the chemically addicted, including charitable organizations that provide food, housing and clothing or direct financial assistance for the purchase of housing to economically disadvantaged individuals and families. 6. Environment To charitable organizations whose purpose it is to protect or preserve the natural environment, preserve plants, animals and natural communities by protecting the lands and water upon which they are located and/or educating the public about the natural enviromnent and human relationships with plants and animals; and 7. Community To charitable organizations that support or conduct programs for community enhancement and that are well managed and financially responsible, including but not limited to charitable organizations that support museums and parks. 8. Promotion of the Arts To charitable organizations and individuals for the promotion and furtherance of the arts, including but not limited to art education, in the form of general financial assistance or funding for specific programs, uses or purposes. 9. Promotion of Historic Preservation To charitable organizations that are involved in saving, restoring and preserving historic buildings, sites and artifacts. 10. Care and Rehabilitation of Youth To charitable organizations and individuals for the purpose of providing benefits to and activities for youths, or care or rehabilitation of youths, in the form of general financial assistance or funding for specific programs, uses or purposes. 11. Women's and Family Assistance To charitable organizations and individuals for the purpose of (i) providing benefits to and activities for women and families in need; (ii) the care or rehabilitation of women and families in need; (iii) promoting self-sufficiency for women and families in need; (iv) providing housing for women and families in need; and (v) the betterment in general of women and families. 12. Civil Liberties To support charitable organizations and individuals for the purpose of (i) protecting individual freedom in the United States; (ii) educating Americans as to their basic civil liberties; and (iii) guarding against unwarranted governmental control. 13. Miscellaneous To any one or more charitable organizations and individuals solely for a charitable purpose described in the Section titled "Purpose."Eligibility
