The Art of Science Grant

The Art of Science program at the New York Botanical Garden invites educators to explore the intersection of art and nature. Participants will enhance their observational skills and utilize the garden as a source of inspiration for creative inquiry. This course, supported by the CGC scholarship, covers all associated fees, making it accessible for teachers looking to enrich their students' outdoor learning experiences.

Discover ways to help students experience the wonder of the outdoors through art and science. Hone observational skills and ask questions using the Garden grounds and exhibition as inspiration. Explore how natural forms can provide an inquiry-based framework for learning and art making.
The CGC scholarship for this New York Botanical Garden program covers the $100 fees for the course as well as the $45 fee for the one “P” credit.
