Overview
The Andersons Charitable Fund, managed by the Albion Community Foundation, supports general charitable activities in the greater Albion area. With a maximum grant request of $1,000, this fund aims to enhance community assets and quality of life. Eligible applicants include nonprofit public charities and faith institutions serving the area, provided they meet specific criteria. The foundation has a strong commitment to community improvement, cultural heritage, and youth development.
To advance these priorities, we maintain an endowment comprised of over 60 funds that distribute grants with the purpose of serving specific needs in the community. Since our founding, we have granted over $3.7 million to charitable causes in our community, not including the $3.7 million restoration of the Historic Bohm Theatre.
Maximum grant request is $1,000.
Eligibility
Any nonprofit public charity, as defined by sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a) of the Internal Revenue Code, located within the greater Albion area or directly serving residents of the greater Albion area is eligible to apply for funding.Faith institutions, public entities, and schools directly serving the greater Albion community are also eligible for specific projects subject to restrictions. Ineligibility
