  • Award Amount: $4,000 per scholarship

    Eligibility Requirements

    • Must be a son or daughter of an active or retired Game Warden, or a Game Warden interested in Continuing Education of the United States or Canada
    • Must have completed coursework qualifying as a Sophomore or higher at time of application
    • Must have a strong PRO HUNTING viewpoint on wildlife management and land management
    • Must be an active hunter
    • Must maintain a 3.0 or better grade point average
    • Must demonstrate good leadership abilities
    • Graduate students must include copy of Thesis project information (no more than 1 page)
    • Graduate students must submit both undergraduate and graduate transcripts

    Application Details

    Applicants must submit a total of seven (7) pages including:
    1. Introductory cover letter
    2. Resume (including courses yet to be completed)
    3. Official transcript
    4. Two (2) letters of recommendation
    5. Current photograph

    Deadline: May 1 annually. Applications received after May 1 will be applied to the following year.

    How to Apply

    Application Process

    1. Prepare a cover letter introducing yourself
    2. Create a resume including coursework completed and courses yet to be completed
    3. Obtain an official transcript
    4. Secure two (2) letters of recommendation
    5. Provide a current photograph
    6. Compile all materials into a seven (7) page total submission
    7. For graduate students: Include thesis project information (no more than 1 page) and both undergraduate and graduate transcripts
    8. Submit all materials to:
