Texas Reskilling Grants

Geographic Scope: Texas residents only

Funder: Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board

Overview: Emergency aid grants provided to eligible Texas students to support enrollment in qualifying degree or certificate programs. Panola College received $300,000 in additional funding to distribute these grants.

  • Certified Nurse Aide

  • Dental Assisting

    • Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a Texas resident

  • Must have completed the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)

  • Must be Title IV eligible

  • Must not have been enrolled in college in the last semester

  • Must have been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic

    • Award Details:

  • May cover up to $2,500 in tuition and fee expenses

  • Funds may be applied only after all other grants and scholarships received

  • Available for Summer or Fall enrollment
