Teacher Scholarships

Funder: Foundation for Inclusive Religious Education Inc (FIRE Foundation)

Purpose: Support teachers and administrators in continuing education that advances inclusive teaching and learning practices

Eligibility

• Teachers and/or administrators
• Seeking continuing education opportunities that support and enrich inclusive teaching/learning practices

Funding Scope

• Professional development courses
• Conferences and training events
• Any continuing education related to creating/strengthening inclusive learning environments
• Covers associated costs of training

Application Requirements

• Formal written request outlining:
  • Course or conference content
  • How the training will aid in creating/strengthening inclusive learning environments
  • All costs associated with the training
  • Timeline of the training (applicants should request at least two months prior to continuing education date)

Review & Decision

• Committee of FIRE Board members reviews requests
• Committee responds in timely fashion

Application Process

1. Submission Timeline: Submit requests at least two months prior to the continuing education date
