Overview: The Teacher Excellence Awards celebrate exceptional educators. This teacher recognition program, in partnership with Helios Education Foundation, highlights the dedication, compassion, and positive impact teachers have on students' lives. Whether it's a creative lesson, a caring gesture, or a lasting influence, this program recognizes every teacher's hard work.

Purpose

Teacher recognition in Tucson and throughout Arizona empowers educators, boosts morale, and highlights the critical role teachers play in shaping our future. By celebrating excellence in the classroom, we inspire continued growth, innovation, and commitment within the teaching profession.

Eligibility

Any PreK–12 teacher in Southern Arizona who makes a difference in students' lives is eligible for the Teacher Excellence Awards. We welcome nominations for teachers from public, private, and charter schools. If you know an educator who goes the extra mile through creativity, kindness, or a positive impact in the classroom, this is your chance to recognize them.
