Professional Development Scholarships
Overview: Tucson Values Teachers believes that ongoing learning is essential for educator success. Through the Teacher Elevation Fund, Professional Development Scholarships provide financial support for Southern Arizona teachers to attend conferences, workshops, and courses — helping you grow your skills and bring fresh ideas back to your classroom.
- Spend the majority (over 50%) of the school day in direct instruction to students
- Currently be certified to teach in Arizona or working in a licensed and regulated early childhood education center
- Upload a copy of teaching certificate or appropriate credentials with application
- Teach any grade or combination of grades PreK through 12
- Teach in a school in Pima County, Cochise County, and/or Santa Cruz County, Arizona
- Plan to continue in an active teaching status through the next full school year
Eligibility
Professional Development Scholarships are available to teachers who meet the following criteria:- Award Amount: Up to $250 per year in scholarships

Application Process
1. Submit a simple application outlining your professional development goals and how the opportunity will benefit your teaching and students
2. TVT will review the request and funds will be sent via Zelle or PayPal
3. A receipt for the fees must be submitted to TVT following disbursement

2. Complete application with professional development goals
3. Receive funds via Zelle or PayPal upon approval
4. Submit receipt to TVT after spending
