CU West CARES Foundation Grants

The CU West CARES Charitable Foundation provides one-time grants, financial education, and volunteer support to non-profit organizations aligned with the foundation's four key pillars. The foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit registered with the IRS, operating as a separate independent legal entity incorporated in Arizona.

• Submission Timeline: Applications should be submitted at least 90 days before the requested support is needed

Supporting front-line heroes who make communities safe, secure, and informed:

• Active-duty military and veterans programs
• First responders and essential workers support
• Teacher support programs

2. Education of All Ages

Supporting thriving futures through education:

• Education scholarships
• Community education programs
• Financial literacy programs
• Education at every level

3. Human Health & Wellness

Building healthy communities:

• Overall human health and wellness programs
• Community infrastructure for enhanced quality of life
• Health and wellness initiatives

4. Distressed & Underserved Communities

Enhancing lives in vulnerable areas:

• Financial and volunteer support
• Community enhancement initiatives
• Support for people in distressed communities
• Support for underserved populations
