TD Charitable Foundation: Capacity Building Fund Grant

The TD Charitable Foundation's Capacity Building Fund empowers nonprofit organizations by providing grants aimed at enhancing their operational capabilities. Established in 2002, this initiative focuses on funding projects that promote job training, arts, and housing assistance, particularly for historically underserved communities. With a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, the foundation seeks to support organizations that align with its TD Ready Commitment drivers, ensuring impactful and sustainable community development.

We primarily fund programs aligned to one or more of the four drivers of our corporate citizenship platform, the TD Ready Commitment, with special consideration given to those that benefit historically underserved communities and low-to-moderate income people.
Nonprofit organizations are the backbone of our communities, providing essential services like job training, arts programs and housing assistance. We offer eligible organizations grants for training, talent, tools and tactics to further help their programs succeed.
Capacity Building Grants provide funding to help strengthen and increase the impact of organizations on the communities they serve. These grants support work around three key issues: tactics, talent and tools.
