Non-Profit Training Resources Fund

Non-profit organizations are often the backbone of a community, providing necessary services like job placement, meal delivery and training that wouldn't be available otherwise. Their employees–dedicated to their organization's mission–can spend long hours performing a variety of tasks, sometimes reaching outside of their own professional knowledge and experiences.

Through the Non-Profit Training Resource Fund, eligible community-based organizations can receive grants of up to $1,000 for employees to attend approved training and/or conferences and receive the education they need to help themselves, their organizations and programs be more successful.

* Eligible organizations:

* Must be tax-exempt under IRS Code 501(c)(3), a public school or other qualified state or local governmental entity and not be classified as a private foundation
* Must have a mission/focus that aligns with The Ready Commitment
* Must be located within a TD Bank, N.A. market area
* Must comply with the TD Charitable Foundation's anti-discrimination policy
* Serve low- to moderate-income communities and/or people
* Support diverse and/or historically underserved communities

* Eligible use of funds:

* Classes and courses must be pertinent to the job the employee performs
* Classes and courses may be one-day classes or part of a certification program
* Classes and courses should not have been already completed at the time of the application
* Classes and courses should be planned to be attended at least 30 days from the donation application submission
