SynGAP Research Fund Grant

The SynGAP Research Fund Grant supports researchers and clinicians focused on SYNGAP1-related disorders. Currently prioritizing Clinical Trial Readiness, the fund aims to accelerate the development of effective treatments. Key areas of interest include identifying biomarkers, enhancing translational science, and expanding multidisciplinary patient care networks. The organization maintains a policy against indirect cost payments to nonprofit institutions, emphasizing direct funding for research initiatives that reduce patient suffering.

Current funding priorities
Clinical Trial Readiness is the current funding priority for SynGAP Research Fund (SRF) dba Cure SYNGAP1. While multiple strategies for precision treatments are in development to treat SYNGAP1-related disorders (SRD), none are yet available for patients.
