Sweet Grass Community Impact Granting

The Sweet Grass Community Impact Granting program, managed by the Sweet Grass Community Foundation, supports 501(c)3 organizations addressing critical needs in Sweet Grass County. Grants up to $10,000 are available annually, with a focus on initiatives that fulfill organizational missions and demonstrate a history of community impact. Projects must be completed within a year, and funding excludes payroll expenses and retroactive project costs.

Sweet Grass Community Foundation's grantmaking sets us apart from other nonprofit organizations.  Having a comprehensive view of community efforts and challenges allows us to address the greatest needs and make the largest impact for Sweet Grass County.
The Community Impact Granting program offers an application cycle annually each spring.

Results must benefit Sweet Grass CountyInitiative helps fulfill the mission of the organization applyingOrganization must have a history of impact in the communityMust be completed within one year of grant awardRequests can be up to $10,000

Eligibility

Applicants must be a 501(c)3 organization or a tax-exempt entity.

Ineligibility

Community impact grants will not be given to cover payroll expenses or to fund projects retroactively.
