Supporting Health for All through Reinvestment (SHARE) Grant

The SHARE Grant, offered by the Eastern Oregon Coordinated Care Organization, aims to enhance health access for Eastern Oregonians by funding projects addressing Social Determinants of Health and Equity (SDOH-E). Supported areas include housing, transportation, food, and community health. Grants range from $15,000 to $250,000, with projects lasting between one to three years. This initiative is designed to empower local organizations in providing essential services that improve overall community well-being.

EOCCO Grants
EOCCO offers three separate grant programs to improve health and access to healthcare of Eastern Oregonians. These grant programs aim to fund services that are not already covered by health insurance. These grant programs are available to traditional healthcare providers, community-based organizations, early learning hubs, tribal governments, food banks and many other types of organizations serving EOCCO’s service area: Baker, Gilliam, Grant, Harney, Lake, Malheur, Morrow, Sherman, Umatilla, Union, Wallowa and Wheeler counties.
Supporting Health for All through Reinvestment (SHARE) Grant
The SHARE application is designed to provide funding to projects addressing Social Determinants of Health and Equity (SDOH-E). SDOH-E projects include housing, transportation, food, utilities, safety, education, community health, and more. This includes services and supports that help people find and maintain stable and safe housing. These funds, known as Supporting Health for All through Reinvestment (SHARE), will be awarded to projects that best address the largest housing and other SDOH-E needs across Eastern Oregon.
Funding
This application should be completed to request SHARE funding. Requests can range from $15,000 to $250,000. Smaller scale projects should be designed to be 1-year long with the possibility to apply for an extension. Larger scale projects may be as short as 1 year or run as long as 3 years.
