Summer Youth Development Programs

Target Population: School-age youth (5-16 years old) from under-resourced families (at or below federal poverty levels, eligible for free and reduced lunch programs)
- Serve students in under-resourced families (at or below federal poverty levels)
- Students must receive services at no cost
- Programs must serve a minimum of 20 students
- Programs must be licensed or obtain license exemption status for the summer prior to program start
- Full or half-day programs (minimum of 4 hours)

- Recent awards: $456,560 (2023), $318,749 (2024)
- Funds provided by Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and Missouri Department of Social Services
- Programs include academic support/enrichment, STEAM learning, social and life skills, health, and recreation
- Daily nutritious meals/snacks provided

Application Process
